Quick diagnosis: Are you in the mature stage?

Use this as a quick snapshot of your ministry’s current health.

Are we likely in the maturity stage?

Our core work is established and repeatable.

We have a recognised track record and established relationships.

Leadership and responsibility extend beyond the founder or senior leader.

Our systems support consistent delivery.

Our primary challenge is no longer establishing the work, but sustaining and renewing it.

Where might we be becoming stuck?

Programmes continue even when their impact is unclear.

Emerging leaders are developed but not given meaningful authority.

Important decisions take increasingly long.

Our systems no longer fit the size or complexity of the organisation.

Leadership succession has not been openly addressed.

Familiar ways of working are difficult to question.

What gives me the greatest confidence that our ministry is healthy?

What is the one area that deserves our attention over the next 12 months?
