Meditation: John 13

Please slowly read John 13:3-17, one the great servanthood passages in the Bible.

Then prayerfully reflect on these principles:

• Servant leadership is not weakness (verse 3).
• Servant leadership must be chosen (verse 4).
• Servant leadership is genuinely selfless (verse 11). Knowing that Judas would betray Him, Jesus still washed his feet!
• Servant leadership does not mean passively letting everyone else set the agenda (verse 8).
