Communication of Findings

Having worked out what you are going to do with your findings, you need to take others on the journey with you. Find out how you to get the word out about your impact evaluation.

Share both your findings and your response.
Once you know your impact and what you’ll do next, it’s time to communicate it — not let it sit in a report.
Identify who needs to hear about your impact.
Brainstorm a wide list of audiences, including individuals, partners, funders, boards, peers, and wider networks.
Choose the best format for each audience.
Different people need different formats — full reports, summaries, social posts, newsletters, conversations, or presentations.
Actively get the word out and engage people.
Use multiple channels to connect, celebrate impact, invite collaboration, and strengthen partnership around your mission.

Action steps:

Who: List all the people that need to hear about your impact (individuals, partners, funders, board etc)
How: Go through your list and decide what communication format would best fit each of these people to hear about your impact.
