    Example of Full Impact Framework

Now we have an opportunity to put what we have learned so far together to create an impact framework. An impact framework is a powerful tool that we will use in future courses in the topic of Impact.

Here are a few examples of impact frameworks using the examples we’ve been talking about.

Impact #1 – Gospel movement leaders develop a healthy theology of generosity.

What we mean: Gospel movement leaders are joyful participants in biblical generosity, as evidenced by their biblical heart-posture toward money, the stewardship of their local resources toward Kingdom advancement, and a decrease in foreign dependency over time.

Quantitative Indicators of Impact Qualitative Indicators of Impact
Know Identify finances/resources as a critical component of generosity Know what the Bible says about money (cite and explain core teaching passages) Recognize that money has a divine purpose (God owns everything, we hear God, and we respond lovingly) Acknowledge that wealth is not neutral; it is alive with spiritual power Distinguish between generosity and fundraising Comprehension of abundance vs. scarcity mentalities (God provides enough) Confidence that money and resources are available and deployable locally, not just from the West Do Gospel movement leaders joyfully steward their resources toward Kingdom advancement Gospel movement leaders facilitate safe environments for discipleship around generosity Gospel movement leaders avoid the ostentatious displays of wealth that reflect the spirit of Mammon and the Prosperity Gospel Feel Increased joy and eagerness in giving Decreased sense of duty/obligation in givingBelieve Money (mammon) is a spiritual matter I am a steward of what God has entrusted to me Understand that all things are from God and ultimately for His glory Kingdom vs. cultural understanding of money Become Gospel movement leaders are discerning in their use of money Love Allocating money for kingdom purposes Feel God’s pleasure in how they live

Impact #2 – Gospel movement leaders incorporate generosity as a core component of discipleship in their training and equipping strategies.

What we mean: Generosity material is disseminated, in some form, beyond the movement leaders to those they influence. This could occur through a number of expressions– from utilization of the DBS materials to versioning of the Stations material for contextualized implementation. Regardless of form, the message is being multiplied across the movement.
