    Exploring the idea

    Our title, The First Board Meeting, is a fun way of saying that this meeting has all of the appearances of a modern-day board meeting about a mission-critical topic. It really is a governance meeting of some sort, in that the Council members were credible and accepted leaders (authorities) for the young Christian church.
