As your ministry grows, the signs are not always obvious. Growth often brings new opportunities, but it also creates new leadership demands, increased complexity, and a greater need for structure.

Review the checklist. Tick every statement that describes your ministry or organisation today.

Our programs or services are established and producing consistent results.

We are reaching more people or expanding our influence and impact.

Funding, partnerships or donor support are increasing.

Our team has grown and the work has become more complex.

Communication is becoming harder as more people are involved.

We need clearer systems, policies, roles or processes.

Leadership responsibilities are starting to be shared beyond the founding leader.

The founding or senior leader can no longer manage every decision and operation alone.

If several of these are true, you are likely in the Growth Stage. This is a good sign, but it means leadership must now become more intentional, structured and shared.
