1. First Impressions & Identity
- People form conclusions based on appearance, clothes, and communication style.
- Organisations do the same through logos, names, colours, and symbols.
- Identity is like the “clothes” your organisation wears — it communicates who you are.
2. Clear & Consistent Communication
- Mismatched identity (e.g., humble fisherman dressed in luxury) confuses people.
- Using the wrong communication channels or language limits connection.
- Identity must align with who you truly are and be communicated effectively.
3. Purpose of Organisational Identity
- Helps further the mission and make an impact.
- Ensures communication reaches the right people, in the right way.
- Being a good steward means honouring your organisation by communicating wisely.
4. Biblical Foundation (Romans 12:3–8)
- The Church is one body with many members, each with unique gifts.
- Organisations are similar; each has something special to offer.
- When each part communicates clearly, the whole body/organisation thrives and impacts the world.
