- Left Ukraine days before the war (God warned her in a dream) but later returned to continue ministry.
- Since the war began, her team has opened seven community houses for youth to gather, connect, and study the Bible.
Leading in a war zone:
- Not easy—requires deep reliance on God’s Spirit and Word.
- Safety and direction depend on listening to the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
- Leadership in crisis = trusting God’s promises and obeying His instructions even without full understanding.
Angela’s illustration:
- Like a pilot flying in fog—can’t rely on sight, only on instructions.
- Leaders must live by what they hear from the Spirit, not by what they see or feel.
Scripture foundation:
- Acts 1:5–6 – disciples asked when the kingdom would be restored (her team asks when war will end).
- Jesus replied it’s not for them to know the times, but they would receive power from the Holy Spirit.
- Message: trust God’s timing, rely on His Spirit for strength and guidance.
Leadership lessons shared:
- Stay honest and sincere with God, yourself, and your team.
- Acknowledge weakness and depend on God’s strength.
- Listen to your team, give space for sincerity and vulnerability.
